OH YOU SEXY THING!
Neil Gaiman has hit one out of the park.
The current season of Doctor Who has been going steadily downhill since part two of THE IMPOSSIBLE ASTRONAUT and I was beginning to despair that it would be able to pull up its socks. then along comes THE DOCTOR'S WIFE by Neil Gaiman and it's a home run!
Absolutely brilliant, genius episode that combines the best of the new Doctor Who series as well as elements from the classic series in a very Gaimanesque way.
I love Neil Gaiman's writing and this episode was no exception. The production values and the performances were every bit as dazzling. I loved it!
As my daughter said: "Gaiman hit the nail on the head, drove it straight through the wood and on in to the ground right to the center of the Earth." Not sure what it means. but it's clear she liked it and she's been even more critical than I have of the current season.
So, well done all!
I've been here and there. I've drawn a lot of pictures. I've written a bit, too. I'm not good at this self-promotion thing. Look, you want to know about me? just visit these websites. Okay?

It must be so cool to have a child that you can share things like 'Dr Who' with. And that metaphor to describe Gaimans work is just genius. I taught so many lunkheads in my day that when I hear something that cool come out of a person's mouth I have to stops my brain for a second so I can read it again. Brilliant!
I have to get caught up with my 'Who Viewing' so I can have discussion with people about things that are happening now. I gotta let Rose go and move on. After all, isn't that the point of the whole Whoniverse anyways?
