BAT-JAMAS

Just a quick picture -- more of an exercise than anything -- to try to break through the doldrums. I've been struggling with artist's bloc for the past few days. Lousy weather and a funeral the other day have done their bit to dampen my enthusiasm.

The trick is to keep drawing.

I've been here and there. I've drawn a lot of pictures. I've written a bit, too. I'm not good at this self-promotion thing. Look, you want to know about me? just visit these websites. Okay?

I can understand how weather as well as circumstances can dampen your fiery inspiration. I've had a project in the works for a while that I've all but given up on a couple times because of the obstacles involved, but I'm optimistic now that it appears to finally be taking shape. So I can really appreciate this mutual feeling as well as the offering of encouragement.

That said, I wish this Bat-Girl was cracking a smile. A funny title like "Bat-jamas" and a cute red head girl should be smiling, not scowling.

We are pretty damp around here too. How the hell does someone get writer's block?

Can never have enough Batgirl no matter what the look on her face.
