BLOGGER ATE MY BLOG!
I lost access to my blog. Apparently some "suspicious activity" caused blogger to lock me out of my own blog. Personally I think the "suspicious activity" was blogger wanting me to give them my cell phone number in order to increase the security of my blog.
Perhaps there was "suspicious activity". Perhaps it was all for my own good. Maybe Google has my best interest at heart.
Bullshit! They wanted my cell number so they could try to sell me shit over my phone.
So I gave them my land line number because I don't have a cell phone.
The end result: Several of the comments I made to other blogs disappeared this morning. Oh yeah, and it PISSED ME OFF!
So when Google demands your cell phone number, buy a burner phone. When they text you your verification, chuck the phone and continue blogging.
I've been here and there. I've drawn a lot of pictures. I've written a bit, too. I'm not good at this self-promotion thing. Look, you want to know about me? just visit these websites. Okay?

ANONYMOUS
Well, anonymous, I do appreciate your tenacity in continuing to leave comments on all my posts, even the really old ones, and while I appreciate the love you show me by pointing me towards various porn sites and places to see naked celebrities, or places where I can buy cheap knock-off watches that look like real Rolexes, your voluminous comments have finally become too much for my in-box.
That is why I have changed my blogger settings and will no longer allow you to comment. It's nothing personal, Anonymous, and I know you mean well, but this relationship is very unhealthy and it just has to stop.
Good bye, Anonymous. I wish you well and truly hope that you find an identity somewhere on this big old crazy internet thing that we all interact with every day.
It`s been fun, but, please, don`t keep in touch. Thanks.
Good Night.

AM I A ROBOT?
Blogger's new comment verification, the new one, put on all of our blogs without our knowledge, the one designed to figure out who is a robot and who is a real person, is very difficult to make work. It is so difficult and annoying it has me questioning whether I am a real person or whether I actually am a robot.
I can't handle such a metaphysical line of thought when I am blogging, so I am urging all bloggers to do yourselves and your readers (and this sad robot) a favor and turn off your comment word verification.
I'll bet most of you didn't even know you had it on your blog. I didn't know. Try leaving yourself a comment and see whether or not it comes up. Blogger should be a free and easy conversation among like-minded individuals, not a hassle where you have to prove who you are all the time and end up questioning your very existance. That's what dealing with government offices is for.
How do you do it? Well head on over to J. A. Bennet's blog and he will tell you how.

GENRE WRITER
Well, Dark Worlds Magazine tried out a blog on their website, but it just didn't work out. The website is still here, but now GW Thomas is back on Blogger with his Genre Writer blog.
For thoughts and ruminations on fantasy, SF, pulp, mystery and other genre writing check it out here!
