Haddon Sundblom was most famous for his Santa Claus paintings done for the Coca Cola Company. But he could also do a decent Christmas pin-up when the need arose like this one he painted for Playboy in 1972.

It's summer but it has been very rainy in my part of the world and all the beaches are flooded, so a sight like this is very rare to see these days. Come to think of it, a sight like this is rare to see no matter how sunny it is.
Ah, well... hope springs eternal. Until then there is always my imagination.*

Well, the results are in and it was a landslide victory for the lovely Lady Leprechaun! I will be celebrating her victory (and the venerable Saint's Day) with a fine bottle of Irish whiskey.
