I am still alive, barely. I'm taking antibiotics and the pills are as big a jellybeans and they leave me exhausted. All the energy I have is going into working on a commission. I had just enough energy left over to scribble this alien-pin-up.
Now I gotta go see my doctor. He's giving me the results of the blood tests and the chest x-rays.

Hang in there, buddy. Spring colds can be the worst. Allergies and the like are laying people out left and right around here.
Thanks, guys! Apparently what I had was a really bad flu, but it was one of those ones that affect the muscles as well as the fluid in your joints, which accounted for the pains.
The broad spectrum antibiotics are working really well and by the time I'm finished with them I'm hoping it will have cured the flu, my myopia, my male pattern baldness, athlete's foot and my spare tire.
