JOHNNY QUEST IN STOP MOTION!

Remember JOHNNY QUEST? I used to watch the cartoon every Saturday morning when I was a kid.

Now take a look at Roger D. Evans’ spectacular stop-motion recreation of the title sequence for the short-lived but influential sci-fi/adventure series from Hanna-Barbera Productions.

An animator and self-proclaimed “Johnny Quest junkie,” Evans worked on the project with his personal assistant Brandi McAlister, who helped with the sets, models and clothing alterations. He providesan incredibly detailed look behind the scenes on his website.

I've been here and there. I've drawn a lot of pictures. I've written a bit, too. I'm not good at this self-promotion thing. Look, you want to know about me? just visit these websites. Okay?

Coolest theme music in the history of ever.

I so wanted to be Race Bannon when I grew up. I think I would have settled for just the name.

Fantastic tribute to one of the great openings of any show, animated or otherwise. Loved me some Johnny Quest as a kid
