Not as sorry as you are going to be come the full moon. Just saying. Don't wear anything nice that you don't want to be ripped apart and covered in goat blood.
WOW! I almost fell out of my chair after seeing that!
The anatomy is concrete, The face is foreboding and yet also inviting. She's not trying to be "sexy" and yet has sex appeal. She not posing in a sitting or reclining position, shes not thrusting any sensuous body parts at the viewer, although she has found other ways of guiding our eye in that direction. Shes standing strong and defiantly and yet so exposed. The colors work together beautifully so that the red is striking without being distracting.
It reminds me especially of the work of Gerald Brom. Particularly these two pieces (probably because of the pale lady):
Wow, Erik! Thank you. I can't take credit for the pose. That's the way it was in the photo I used as reference, although those are exactly the reasons I chose that particular reference. As for the rest, well it just kind of worked out which is nice when it happens.
And, yeah, I love Brom's work and his very pale ladies.
Cal, don't worry. I have a special tear and stain resistant outfit I wear to goat sacrifices. I'm not new.

Well you took that pose and made it into something spectacular, so you deserve some level of kudos.
