Actor Sean Bean (Richard Sharpe, Boromir, Eddard Stark) was recently involved in a barroom fight to defend the honour of a lady, his "friend" model and ex porn actress April Summers.
Reportedly Bean took a stab in the arm and kept on drinking.
According to the New York Daily News:
British actor Sean Bean was stabbed in the arm Sunday night as a result of defending his lady friend, Playboy model April Summers.
The "Game of Thrones" and "Lord of the Rings" star, 52, was attacked outside the Hill Bar and Brasserie in London, according to The Daily Mail.
The fight reportedly ensued after a stranger walking on the street made some lewd comments about Summers when she was standing outside with Bean smoking cigarettes.
Bean proceeded to follow the passerby down the street in a valiant act to defend Summers, but the man didn't engage and instead walked away.
Later in the evening, however, Bean left the bar to smoke another cigarette and was assaulted by the man.
People at the scene of the fight reported seeing the man punch Bean in the face and stab him in the arm with something that appeared to be a broken glass.
But, instead of going to the hospital to have his injuries checked out, Beans reportedly walked back into the bar and ordered another drink.
"Sean is a regular here and we've never had any problems before. He was with a very attractive woman and an incident occurred outside the bar," a bar employee told the British newspaper.
"He came in with a cut on his arm and a bruise on his eyebrow. We saw to his injuries with the first aid kit. He seemed ok and wanted to have another drink," the staffer added.
Police were called to the bar and Summers told the Daily Mail that she was not injured and the incident was "a private matter."
It isn't known whether Bean and Summers are involved in a romantic relationship, but the actor has been married and divorced four times before.

Good for him! I've been in enough fights to appreciate just how much I don't enjoy being in one. I think I'll enjoy it even less at 52 as I do now at 46.
Hopefully, the alcohol dulled the pain. I'm equally hopeful that Ms. Summers was properly appreciative of Mr. Bean's gallantry :)
I wonder if this will lead to new legislation in England to curb senseless broken bottle crimes? I'd hate to think of Guiness being sold only in biodegradable plastic bottles....
