I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS GOING UNTIL I WAS GONE!

I've had some holidays built up. A lot of them, in fact. The accountants at head office really don't like employees with too many holidays. Apparently it's a pain to deal with all those numbers and I guess they don't like the idea of owing me money were I to resign, so instead they encouraged me to take holidays while things were slow.

So I took a week. I've had a great time just me and my wife enjoying life and avoiding the online world. We played a lot of Scrabble and even managed a walk in the woods after a snowfall. It was like being in Narnia. We didn`t meet Mister Tumnes but I did keep an eye out for a streetlamp.

Well, It's Sunday and I'm back to work tomorrow and I'm back at the blog and thinking that things look a little dingy. Maybe it's time to freshen it all up. So on my to-do list is create a new look, and to blog more frequently.

And I'll start all that on Monday. Maybe. If I have time.

Meanwhile the next post is one that's been sitting unposted for a while.

I've been here and there. I've drawn a lot of pictures. I've written a bit, too. I'm not good at this self-promotion thing. Look, you want to know about me? just visit these websites. Okay?

Welcome back!

I get caught in the vacation burn crunch almost every year too. I'm resolved to actually space out the time that I'm required to burn throughout the year this time around, rather than get to the end and face "use it or loose it" once again.
