I never actually owned a copy. A friend had one and I tried desperately to find a copy, even offered to buy it from him to no avail. It is a beautiful and rare illustrated edition that will one day be part of my collection.M. D. I think you know how I feel about this...Great post. I think you know how I feel about this image. I have a first edition of Dune that my father got me for my birthday one year. Known for having many 'associates' he knew a book guy (like he knew a toy guy) who could find the great presents he always gave us.
